Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions are in addition to those stated in other areas of this website. Please read carefully before placing your order.

When purchasing furniture via Solid Wood 4 Less you will receive an email confirming the order and outlining availability of the stock in question. We will then telephone or email to advise you of the next available delivery date in your area. Furniture will be despatched only when we have received your verbal acceptance of the proposed date for delivery.

Cancellation:

You have the right to cancel your order within 7 days of placing it. If the order has been despatched or even delivered you must please advise Customer Services within 7 days.

All purchased items must remain in their original packaging and be in a re- saleable condition. Please allow two weeks the relevant refund – which must be credited to the payment credit card account only.

Mattresses can only be returned if they are unopened. Opened/slept upon mattresses may be returned only if there is a manufacturer’s fault. Mattress testing should be carried out whilst the item remains in its covering, thus ensuring that it suits your requirements and that you wish to keep it.

In the event of your belief that any of our products are of unsatisfactory quality or that they are damaged or faulty in any way, please contact Customer Services immediately.

Where there is a valid claim to Customer Services within 7 days of delivery, either a full refund or an acceptable replacement will be offered. *Damage reported after this 7 day period must be of a structural nature or result from a manufacturers defect.

Legal title to goods is automatic once full and final settlement is made. Until that point, the items in question remain the property of Solid Wood 4 Less.

At Solid Wood 4 Less we endeavour to ensure that all information and detail is correct and up to date. However, we do not accept liability in respect of any error or omission in any sale quotation, price list, acceptance of offer etc.

From time to time and for customers’ information, ‘links’ to other websites will appear on www.solidwood4less.co.uk. These should, in no way, be seen as an endorsement of these linked websites where the content is the sole responsibility of the individual owners.

Solid Wood 4 Less shall not be responsible for any delay in delivery which is beyond the suppliers’ control.

Whilst our drivers are extremely careful in the handling of your item of furniture, we cannot be held responsible for any damage which may occur during the delivery process. Unforeseen circumstances can be reduced by taking a number of precautions. Please ensure, for instance, that you lay protective sheets on your carpets, take pictures off the walls and cover any furniture that could, otherwise, possibly be damaged during the delivery process.

We cannot, however, be held responsible for any erroneous presence of this type which may, conceivably, cause damage to your computer. Neither are we responsible for any similar problem which may be encountered when ‘linking’ from this website to others. Protection of computer equipment is the responsibility of the website reader and may be undertaken as the result of software protection packages available via the internet.

These Terms and Conditions do not affect your legal rights. They are here to protect the roles of both the purchaser and the vendor. They may be amended from time to time so please refer to this page from time to time.
